Project Director – Planning & Scheduling

Key Responsibilities
- Manage commissions in a client‑facing role, handling high‑value and complex projects, developing talent and engaging in local markets.
- Improve Planning and Scheduling processes, interfacing with project controls to increase efficiency and client benefits.
- Develop interdisciplinary relationships for client benefit.
- Drive success and growth of the Planning and Scheduling team in relation to business generation, resource planning, and strategic opportunities.
- Oversee project scope, capability delivery, and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
- Lead line management activities, including career development and Planning and Scheduling.
- Develop project controls capability through recruitment, training, and experience.
- Implement and roll‑out identified changes to Planning and Scheduling processes.
- Contribute to the national and regional Community of Practice.
- Manage performance and reporting within the business and externally in industry.
- Serve as subject‑matter expert, providing expert analysis to stakeholders and senior management.
- Train and coach clients and team members on Planning and Scheduling processes.
- Lead national and regional initiatives aimed at strategic goals such as growth and improvement.

Qualifications
- Subject‑matter expertise of Planning and Scheduling tools and techniques (mandatory).
- Experience interfacing with other Project Controls disciplines (mandatory).
- Experience directing Planning and Scheduling on complex projects/programmes (essential).
- Experience leading large teams (essential).
- Ability to work in delivery and transformation projects (essential).
- Familiarity with NEC contracts (essential).
- For Defence roles: UK National only, holding or able to obtain SC Clearance.
