We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Product Manager to join our dynamic Digital team within the London Stock Exchange Group. This role is part of Corporate Engineering, a team charged with building, releasing, and continuously improving LSEG's Tier 1 corporate websites. The team maintains its own systems in an Agile environment and collaborates across functions to deliver high‑quality, high‑risk digital products and initiatives from conception to launch.
What you will do
- Deliver on digital strategy, capability projects, and become a domain expert and authority for the applications and projects you work on.
- Conduct thorough business process analysis, document current processes, and use specifications to create new process requirements and lead requirement changes.
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of AEM sites and draft detailed business requirements, use cases, and system interaction diagrams.
- Work with key business and technology partners to define and conceptualise product strategy and requirements, approve wireframes and mock‑ups for solutions.
- Share a comprehensive view of the required functionality to provide context and meaning to the software we are delivering, ensuring end‑to‑end precision.
- Partner closely with Risk, Legal, Compliance, InfoSec, Architecture, and SRE to ensure platforms meet regulatory obligations.
- Define and track product health metrics (availability, error rates, deployment risk, defect leakage, technical debt).
- Create a solid foundation for Scaled Agile Framework development by providing clear direction and strong purpose.
- Maintain a prioritised backlog of development work, liaise with team and collaborators to manage expectations.
- Lead requirement breakdown and estimation sessions with multiple development teams.
- Own and drive quality assurance and software testing efforts, focusing on automated testing and DevOps enablement.
- Develop and review test plans, cases, and reports to measure effectiveness of test strategies.
- Propose and implement software testing strategies for digital transformation initiatives.
- Own and drive software life‑cycle quality documentation.
- Contribute to project discoveries, business cases, kick‑offs, and proposals following company standards.
The type of person we would love to meet
- Product Manager with a complete understanding of the Software Delivery Lifecycle and delivery methodologies such as Scrum, SaFe and Kanban.
- Proven background in product‑management delivery change to critical applications or websites that are regulatory in nature and experience in high‑pressure, dynamic environments.
- Experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in the digital domain delivering large‑scale websites and cloud projects.
- Experience in leading people, mentoring Product Owners and Business Analysts, and improving delivery practices.
- Experience managing senior stakeholders, resolving conflicts, aligning priorities, and making clear, defensible decisions.
- Authoritative knowledge of cloud implementations, with proficiency in AWS (plus).
- Authoritative knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (plus).
- Proficient understanding of all website components and features such as digital asset management, workflows, site search, component overlays, integrations, and analytics.
- Experience creating and maintaining functional specifications for new website templates and components, including authoring widgets and workflow customisation.
- Experience working with content authors.
- Experience integrating websites with backend systems and data sources.
- Proficient understanding of cross‑browser compatibility.
- Experience with Test‑Driven Development.
- Experience working with onshore and offshore teams.
- Champion usage of Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket) or Asana.
- Proactive, assertive, and pragmatic in a demanding, dynamic environment.

Nice to have
- Ability to perform some development and maintenance tasks related to AEM platform code.
- Experience installing and configuring AEM, groups and permissions, ACLs, replication agents, service packs, dispatcher configuration.
- Experience in Java development, design, and coding (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, React).
- Experience fixing AEM environment issues.
- UX UI knowledge.
