Overview
This independent day and boarding school in north Essex is seeking a strategic, adaptable and compassionate SENCO & Head of Support for Learning to lead our SEND provision from Year 7 to 13.
Responsibilities
- Oversee an accurate SEND register and ensure evidence‑based admissions assessments.
- Drive high‑quality, responsive teaching that enables all pupils to exceed baseline expectations.
- Work across departments to ensure an intentionally sequenced curriculum and parity of progression for every learner.
- Robust line management for the SfL team, overseeing professional development.
- Manage exam access arrangements and departmental quality assurance.
