Lead Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer – Guinea, West Africa

Lead Engineer (Electrical & Instrumentation) – Guinea, West Africa. We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to oversee engineering efforts for a large-scale iron ore project in West Africa.

Overview

Role is rotational and based in Guinea, West Africa.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) engineering for rail and export infrastructure.
• Ensure safe, fit-for-purpose designs aligned with project standards.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure quality deliverables.
• Oversee scope integration, technical reviews, and field engineering efforts.
• Support commissioning, issue resolution, and change management.

Key Requirements

• 15+ years in C&I engineering, ideally in mega projects, mining, or material handling.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
• Experience in Africa or China is highly regarded.
• Proficiency in French or Chinese is a plus.
• Location: West Africa
• Rotation: Fly-in-fly-out schedule. 6 weeks on and 3 unpaid
