Senior HVAC Design Engineer – Office based, Bingham.
Salary: £70–80k base plus £400 per month car allowance and bonus/profit‑share.

Our client, established in 2010, is a seasoned HVAC contractor with a strong, long‑standing team. We provide full turnkey solutions across the HVAC industry. This vacancy is for a Senior Design Engineer focused on delivering commercial projects up to £2m in value, primarily new‑build warehouse developments and refit/upgrade projects.
As the senior member of the team, you will lead HVAC design delivery, managing projects from concept through to completion, while also mentoring a junior design engineer and potentially expanding the team over the coming year.
Responsibilities
- Oversee HVAC design delivery for commercial projects up to £2m in value.
- Lead projects from concept through to completion.
- Manage and mentor a junior design engineer.
- Conduct office‑based design work and make site visits to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction.
- Attend site visits and liaise with contractors, clients, and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC Design Engineer within the commercial sector.
- Strong background in designing systems for new‑build warehouses and refurbishment projects.
- 10–15 years of experience in HVAC design.
- Ability to lead projects up to £2m in value from design through installation.
- Experience managing or mentoring junior engineers.
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD for design and coordination.
- Skilled in heat‑loss and heat‑gain calculations.
- Good understanding of current building regulations and HVAC design standards.
Salary & Benefits
- Basic salary up to £80k, depending on experience.
- Profit share scheme – £3,600 tax‑free per annum after 1 year of service.
