Site Manager – Holiday Cover (1 Week)

Purpose of Role
To manage the day-to-day running of the construction site during holiday cover, ensuring work is carried out safely, on programme, and to a good standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Open and close the site each day
- Supervise subcontractors and site operatives
- Ensure health & safety procedures are followed
- Carry out daily site checks and briefings
- Coordinate deliveries and materials
- Monitor progress against the programme
- Maintain site records (diary, permits, inductions)
- Report any issues, delays, or incidents to senior management
- Keep the site secure and tidy
Requirements
- Previous site management experience
- Good understanding of health & safety on construction sites
- Ability to manage trades and communicate clearly
- SMSTS/SSSTS and CSCS
