  • Ensure performance optimisation and scalability of Power BI solutions.
  • Work effectively with Microsoft Fabric components (e.g., Lakehouse, Dataflows, semantic models) as data sources.
  • Produce clear, concise documentation covering datasets, measures, models, and reports.
  • Promote Power BI best practices across modelling, DAX, and report design.
  • Coach and upskill analysts and developers, providing guidance and quality assurance.

Core Experience (Must‑Have)

  • Strong hands‑on expertise with Power Query (M) for data shaping and transformation.
  • Advanced DAX skills with clean, maintainable, best‑practice code.
  • Excellent visual design and UX capability; strong understanding of data‑visualisation best practices.
  • Microsoft Fabric awareness and understanding of how Power BI integrates with Fabric components.
  • Strong documentation discipline for datasets, measures, and reports.
  • Experience supporting, coaching, and upskilling Power BI users and developers.
