Job Title: Lead Full Stack Tech Lead (SC Cleared)

Location: Remote, UK Based

Duration: 12-month contract (With scope to extend)

Clearance: Active Security Clearance is required

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Tech Lead to provide hands-on technical leadership across agile delivery teams.

You will set engineering standards, ensure architectural alignment, and enable efficient, high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Own engineering standards including code quality, testing, estimates, and PR reviews
Shape and decompose work into clear, testable, delivery-ready stories
Embed agreed architectural patterns across services
Document technical decisions and collaborate with architects on design approvals
Mentor engineers and model strong engineering behaviours
Identify delivery waste and escalate blockers early
Ensure cross-team consistency and alignment
Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders

Essential Skills and Experience

Senior experience in one core stack:
Java with Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security
Strong experience with microservice architectures
Proven Java and Spring best practices
Frontend experience with React and Micro Front Ends
AWS experience including SNS, SQS, S3, Aurora or PostgreSQL, OpenSearch
Strong communication and leadership skills within agile teams
