Imperial College London is seeking two Continuous Improvement Works Managers to lead the delivery of minor works and continuous improvement activity across all campus buildings, enhancing the safety, reliability and performance of facilities management services.
Working as part of the Operational Property team, you will act as a subject matter expert, identifying complex and recurring issues, analysing root causes and coordinating improvement works in partnership with internal teams and contractors. You will play a key role in driving operational efficiency, supporting asset reliability and ensuring works are delivered safely, to the required standards and in line with relevant legislation.
You will lead the planning and delivery of continuous improvement works and minor capital projects, ensuring activities are scoped, specified and delivered safely, on time and within budget. You will work closely with Property Facilities Managers, Assistant Facilities Managers and other operational teams to coordinate improvement activity, minimise disruption and ensure buildings remain operationally ready. The role also involves monitoring contractor performance, maintaining plans and reporting on progress, cost and risk, and ensuring compliance with health and safety, statutory and regulatory requirements throughout all improvement works.
