Overview
dnata Catering UK is looking to add structure to its Technical Services team as we embark on a period of significant change, enhancing existing systems and rolling out new systems to improve technology posture. This role is on a fixed term contract for 6 months.
What’s the purpose of role:
- Align resources to business priorities, managing end user devices, printers, infrastructure, networks and security.
- Engage with third party support and infrastructure technology providers.
- Measure supplier performance and ensure they meet contractual obligations.
- Drive adoption of technologies provided by Emirates Group, e.g. Modern Workplace, CSOC, Azure Cloud, ITSM portal.
- Assist with an MSP contract renewal including transformation projects around network and servers.
- Ensure business systems transformation projects are suitably supported with infrastructure, device and security requirements.

What you’ll be doing
- Managing relationships and performance of third party technology providers.
- Managing end user device provisioning and support.
- Managing application deployment and support.
- Managing network device and software provisioning and support.
- Managing print device and software configuration and support.
- Managing end user device build processes, scripts and configuration.
- Managing infrastructure and datacentre configuration and support.
- Managing migration away from legacy AD to group AAD.
- Management of Intune and MDM solutions including application packaging.
- Managing implementation of group cyber security standard products.
- Ensuring internal and customer projects are suitably supported with infrastructure, device and security requirements.

What you’ll have
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft technologies including Office 365, EntraID, Teams, Windows, Azure & Intune.
- Knowledge of Google technologies such as Admin console and Chrome OS.
- Knowledge of Apple deployment using Apple Business Manager.
- Knowledge and experience of printer hardware, software, and configuration.
- Knowledge and experience of IT Networking and hardware configuration.
- Understanding and experience practicing the ITIL framework.
- Understanding service desk processes, incident and request management, change management and problem management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Understanding of complex information and requirements.
- Good prioritisation skills and be flexible enough to adapt plans.
- A good team-playing mentality.
- International experience an advantage.
- Self-developing to reach target goals set.
Able to travel to locations at short notice.
