Role Overview

The Senior Business Analyst will support the CIO Delivery function in delivering complex, cross-functional telecom programmes. The role involves defining business analysis approaches, gathering and managing requirements, and ensuring end-to-end traceability across the project lifecycle. The BA will also lead or support BA workstreams and work closely with stakeholders across multiple business areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business analysis activities within complex programmes or projects
  • Define scope, objectives, benefits, and analysis approach
  • Plan BA workstreams including deliverables, tasks, timelines, and resources
  • Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders across multiple business areas
  • Manage requirements lifecycle with full traceability and change control
  • Support process modelling, redesign, and improvement activities
  • Collaborate with IT and delivery teams to ensure solution alignment
  • Lead or support BA teams and ensure quality of outputs
  • Conduct impact assessments across financial, operational, and technical areas
  • 3–10 years Business Analysis experience in complex commercial environments
  • Strong experience in telecoms, media, or large-scale organisations
  • Proven delivery of end-to-end business change projects
  • Experience with Waterfall methodologies (Agile desirable)
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to define BA approaches and manage full workstreams
  • Experience with requirements modelling and documentation
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Business/IT degree or equivalent
  • ISEB / CBAP / CCBA certification
  • Domain knowledge in B2B, Mobile, Connectivity, or Billing
