We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our team and help drive business value through the development of machine learning solutions to business problems, meeting customer needs and driving measurable value.
You will be part of a diverse, international, collaborative team focused on the delivery of high quality, high impact work. This role will mainly be focused on the continuous improvement of our UK Marketing Effectiveness (Media Mix Modelling) programme which has already launched, alongside the creation of a new model from inception for the US market utilising learnings from the UK project.
You will have an excellent opportunity to interact directly with a wide variety of stakeholders across seniority levels, in both central office and venue teams. The work you do will make a real impact on the effective investment of our marketing budgets and you will be supported and guided along the way by experienced members of our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and integrate data from a diverse range of sources, ensuring quality and accuracy prior to use in model creation.
- Apply statistical and machine learning techniques such as regression, Bayesian modelling, or time‑series analysis to improve our UK marketing effectiveness model.
- Apply learnings from the UK to developing a new model for the US market.
- Develop, refine and productionise machine learning/AI models that solve business or customer needs, driving measurable impacts to financial KPIs.
- Work with data analysts to set out measurement plans which can quantify the impact of data science solutions.
- Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences using dashboards, data visualisations and storytelling to aid understanding and ensure models are understood, trusted, and effectively integrated into decision making processes.
- Deliver solutions end‑to‑end to ensure the potential impact is realised.
- Collaborate with other data professionals in the team and company‑wide data community, sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of curiosity and continuous improvement.
