As a first step, Roundtable has been building the go‑to platform for everything related to angel investing in startups.

Roundtable now empowers angel investors to invite their network to co‑invest alongside them, automating all the regulatory and process flows under the hood.

We have closed 500+ deals, invested €250M+ and onboarded 15,000+ investors.

We are now enabling them to easily start small VC funds to share their deal flow even more easily. Further down the line, we will open other asset classes (such as Private Equity) and aim to become the one‑stop shop for non‑professional investors for all alternative asset investments.

The founding team

Evan – CEO, ex‑Principal at BCG with a focus on financial institutions (7y of work experience).

Julien – CPO, ex‑Lead Data Scientist at BCG (6y of work experience).

Simon – CTO, seasoned tech leader & serial entrepreneur (sold Hubware to Onepilot) (10y of work experience).

We are a team of 15 at Roundtable today and counting. As the UK Lead you will directly work with Evan, Co‑Founder & CEO, and have a close collaboration with Julien, Co‑Founder & CPO for all implications on product and operations.

Job Summary

We are looking for someone to build and lead Roundtable’s UK market from the ground up. This is not a traditional business development role.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the UK go‑to‑market strategy.
  • Build and activate relationships with VCs, angels, lawyers and key ecosystem players.
  • Generate and close high‑stakes transactions (from €100k SPVs to €250M+ funds).
  • Develop partnerships to accelerate market entry.
  • Represent Roundtable within the UK ecosystem (events, communities, networks).
  • Contribute to local positioning and brand.
  • Structure and track key initiatives.
  • Hire and build a local team over time.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in venture, private markets, fintech or high‑growth start‑ups, with exposure to commercial roles, fundraising or investment processes in the UK ecosystem.
  • Comfortable engaging VCs, angels, founders and key stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to drive outcomes (closing deals, partnerships, revenue).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset – thrives in fast‑paced environments, takes ownership beyond one’s scope and constantly looks for better ways to execute.
  • Structured, detail‑oriented, able to manage complex processes.
  • Fluent in English (French is a plus).
