As part of this Modern Workplace role, you will be involved in creating, maintaining and supporting all aspects of End User Compute and Modern Workplace solutions for enterprise clients. You will have a natural aptitude for forming strong relationships with the client. Given the nature of our Managed Service clients and sectors you may be required to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Solution Leads in all aspects of End User Compute and act as an SME in your specialised areas of Modern Device Management.
  • Provide technical design, administration and advisory for modern device management.
  • Manage junior EUC engineers.
  • Design, administer and advise on Microsoft Endpoint Management solutions such as Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
  • Handle application packaging and deployment using scripts to MSIX.
  • Develop PowerShell scripts and automations.
  • Work with Active Directory and Entra ID.
  • Recommend Microsoft security products and configure them appropriately.
  • Support the wider Microsoft 365 stack including Teams, SharePoint, Exchange and Power Platform.
  • Participate in pre‑issue/post‑issue peer reviews to provide remediation recommendations.
  • Improve information systems, data handling, processes, procedures, organisation and equipment.
  • Communicate with clients and internal customers.
  • Remain current with emerging Microsoft capabilities through training and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience across Modern Device Management and M365 with a longstanding background in broader End User Compute.
  • Demonstrable technical understanding of Microsoft 365, including Teams, Intune, Conditional Access, licensing, etc.
  • Ability to lead technical projects and independently plan required tasks.
  • Experience contributing to designs and managing change controls.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • High motivation, self‑starter, and ability to set directions without external guidance.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of technically experienced resources.

Desirable

  • Prior experience in a multi‑vendor environment.
  • Ownership of device builds and technical ownership of the end‑user experience.
  • Systems thinking to identify automation opportunities and achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Competence in scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell and Power Automate.
  • Relevant Microsoft 365 certifications.
