AI Software Engineer – up to £140k – Central London (5 days onsite)

We’re working with a fast‑growing, data‑centric tech business that is on a mission to redefine how private market intelligence is accessed and used. With 300+ leading VC and PE firms already on board, they’re now doubling down on Ai!

They’re hiring an AI Engineer to help design, build, and deploy cutting‑edge, production‑grade AI features that directly power their platform.

The Role

• Build conversational AI systems and agent‑based workflows
• Implement tool use, function calling, and RAG pipelines
• Develop deep search capabilities across proprietary and external datasets
• Evaluate, iterate, and improve AI model performance in production

Tech stack: Python (FastAPI), LLMs, and modern AI frameworks

What They’re Looking For

• Hands‑on experience working with LLMs (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic)
• Familiarity with agent frameworks such as LangChain
• Solid SQL and data handling experience

Nice to have

• Knowledge of vector databases
