Global IT Audit Senior Manager – Cyber Security & Data Privacy

We are looking for a Global IT Audit Senior Manager with strong experience across Cyber Security, Data Privacy, IT Risk and Internal Audit.
This is a senior role focused on leading complex IT audit work across a global environment, with a strong emphasis on data privacy, cyber security controls, emerging technology risk and third‑party/vendor risk.
You’ll help shape the annual IT audit plan, lead audit strategy, oversee multiple engagements, and partner closely with senior Cyber Security, Privacy, Risk and Technology stakeholders.
What you’ll be doing:
- Developing and shaping the cyber security and data privacy audit plan
- Leading the planning, scoping and execution of complex IT audit and consulting projects
- Overseeing audits across cyber security, data privacy, emerging technology and third‑party/vendor risk
- Reviewing technical cyber controls, including cloud security, EDR, vulnerability management, network architecture and SOC operations
- Assessing privacy controls and compliance, including GDPR, CCPA, DSARs, DPIAs, SCCs and cross‑border data transfers
- Partnering with senior Cyber Security, Privacy, Risk, Technology and Internal Audit stakeholders
- Communicating audit findings clearly through reports and presentations to senior management
- Supporting governance, risk, controls, remediation and audit quality across multiple engagements
What we are looking for:
- 8+ years’ IT audit, technology risk, cyber audit or IT controls experience, with Big 4 or IT consulting experience highly preferred
- Strong experience auditing cyber security controls, including cloud security, network security, EDR, vulnerability management, SOC operations, API security and emerging technology risk
- Strong experience auditing data privacy controls, including DSARs, DPIAs, SCCs, cross‑border transfers, privacy testing, issue management and remediation
- Good understanding of key privacy principles, including lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose limitation, data minimisation, confidentiality and accountability
- Strong knowledge of frameworks and regulations such as NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, CIS Controls, GDPR, CCPA, LGPD and PIPL
- Awareness of modern technical security risks across Network, API, AI model, cloud, operating system and Operational Technology environments
- Excellent stakeholder management, report writing and communication skills, with the ability to turn complex technical findings into clear, actionable insights
