Roles & Responsibilities
- Looking for a highly experienced and skilled Project Manager with a proven track record of success in managing technology projects. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies, SDLC, with a reasonable experience in delivering Infrastructure/Cloud Migration projects. They will also be an excellent communicator and team leader with a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Project and Program Delivery and Governance - Manage and lead the delivery of projects against a documented and audited methodology.
- Planning and Resource Management - Lead independently the development and maintenance of work breakdown structure, activity network, Gantt chart including estimates on duration and resource allocation for medium sized projects.
- Stakeholder engagement - Independently lead the formal stakeholder engagement process throughout significant projects including personally influencing the views of key stakeholders and amending stakeholder management plans.
- Monitoring and Controlling - Manage all aspects of the monitoring and control processes and implemented corrective actions.
- Effective Communication - Effectively contribute to business meetings and workshops with the ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information both verbally and in a written format. Ability to ask for help or clarification when needed. Self-Motivated and Driven. Status Reporting.
- A good understanding of the project management lifecycle and the role of a Project/Programme Manager.
- Experience of working within complex change environments, managing small to medium projects simultaneously.
SKILLS And QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATIONAL / PROFESSIONAL)
- 15+ years of experience as a Project Manager, including 5-8 years in Project management on technical projects
- Experience managing technology projects, organizational change, and the ability to understand and discuss technical concepts.
- Experience in infrastructure/cloud update or migration projects.
- Knowledge and experience in system development/implementation, software validation, and hosted systems (sandboxes).
- A strong desire to self-learn and improve, manage work load and prioritize effectively, identify knowledge gaps and learn from seniors, and adapt quickly to customer processes and methods.
- Advanced written and communication skills to support report writing and presentations of complex subject matter to stakeholders.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in a technology-focused environment with strong knowledge of PMP and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, and Agile/PMP or Scrum Master certification is a plus.

- Working knowledge on hosted system (sandbox).
- Managed technology projects to understand the unique risks, and experience working with development teams and software teams.

- Experience in Infrastructure Project Delivery and Datacentre/Cloud Migration Projects.
- Understand how the technology works.

- Manages relationship and overall engagement with implementation partners and vendors.
- Ensures appropriate final approval and quality of key deliverables.
- Manages full handover to support and business operational support and maintenance teams.
- Responsible tracking and escalating needs of overall resource management for the project.
- All the above to follow Customer processes, policies, and governance, working with IT PMO and Customer QA as needed.
- Knowledge in using the Tools: JIRA, Confluence, MS Office Apps, ServiceNow, PlanView.
