Purpose of the Role

To lead and support the centre in the on-going development of a world class safety culture in line with the QSHE objectives of the business.

To support the implementation of Health and Safety Policy and procedures and to develop and maintain site health and safety documentation and compliance, advising departmental managers and staff of Fire Safety & Health and safety responsibilities.

Completion of Fire Safety & Health & Safety audits and compliance inspections of landlord’s areas, tenants’ demises and tracking of actions to resolve nonconformance in line with legislation and company policy and procedures. Ensuring all centre Operations and Shop Fit projects are carried out in line with centre safety policies & procedures.

Provide fire safety, life safety, emergency procedure and other Health & Safety training to the centre teams on a regular basis to ensure compliance with statutory and policy requirements. To Develop strong, positive & proactive relationships with local EHO & other local authority agencies.

Management of health & safety systems including but not limited to accident / incident reporting system & processes to support ISO accreditations.

Ensuring first class relationships & world class customer service levels are achieved at all times. You will also assist in the general management of the centre and act as Duty Manager.
