Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Business Development Managers across the region to achieve sales targets and business growth objectives.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company goals, market trends, and changing financial adviser landscape.
- Provide coaching and ongoing development opportunities to team members, fostering a high-performance sales culture.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with financial advisers, wealth managers, and other key stakeholders.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, analyse data, and adjust strategies to optimise results.
- Collaborate with internal teams on delivering excellent service and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Lead on strategic projects related to market expansion, product launches, and client engagement initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven track record of successful sales management within the financial services or investment management sectors (life company for example)
- Experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams within a regional or national capacity.
- Strong understanding of the financial adviser landscape and current industry trends.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse data and implement effective sales strategies.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
