Job Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable and motivated Retail Branch Manager to lead the team at our busy PaintWell branch in Droitwich. The branch is located on Unit 6a Salwarpe Road and serves local homeowners and trade customers with a broad range of decorating materials. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 7am – 5pm and Saturday 8am – 5pm. The role requires 40 hours per week over five days, Monday to Friday, with Saturday on a rota. Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise a team of four staff members, ensuring smooth branch operation.
- Develop the team, providing coaching and training.
- Achieve sales targets and generate new business.
- Promote high levels of customer service and inspire staff.
- Represent the company positively to a wide range of customers.
- Work independently on initiatives to improve branch performance.
- Possess knowledge of the local area (beneficial).
Qualifications and Experience
- Management or supervisory experience in a similar or relevant role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business.
- Excellent leadership skills, ability to motivate and drive excellence.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Approachable and friendly personality, supportive of both customers and colleagues.
- Experience in the decorative industry is advantageous but not essential.
- Willingness to attend training and become a Fire Marshall.
