Bournemouth, Bristol, Camberley, Cardiff, Cheltenham, Crawley, Exeter, Plymouth, Southampton, Swansea.
Role Details
This is a full‑time, Monday‑Friday role, working 7 hours per day. You will travel to numerous stores within your area, so you must have access to your own vehicle and hold a full driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales through consistently high visual merchandising and operational standards.
- Develop and maintain a highly capable team – providing induction, coaching and support to ensure Team Leaders are set up to succeed.
- Act as first‑line support to the Operations Team, supporting and delivering process efficiencies and business improvement opportunities.
- Directly line‑manage a group of Team Leaders, coaching them to achieve process efficiency and high‑quality standards in the field.
- Monitor in‑store standards, sharing best practice among TLs and raising the bar on area performance.
- Manage escalated host concerns around quality and standards, resolving these within agreed parameters.
- Proactively identify TL performance improvement opportunities—providing coaching and escalating as required.
- Hold responsibility for induction—ensuring all new TLs receive a warm welcome, are supported throughout probation and receive meaningful feedback and targets for improvement.
- Embed an effective buddy system so that new TL starters or periods of TL absence do not negatively impact zone performance or host feedback.
- Recognise and celebrate great performance.
- Work with other Area Managers and central support teams to identify trends in learning and development gaps and to escalates where necessary.
- Suggest opportunities to drive improvement and efficiency, and actively involve yourself in any improvement work or project.
- Support the BOMS with delivering field communications, launches and initiatives, and obtaining meaningful feedback.
- Work as first‑line support with the Operations team to embed new ways of working, identify areas for process and quality improvements, and shape action plans.
- Work under the direction of the Operations Manager to shape and deliver communication and training.
Requirements
- Expert in field operations, achieving high standards in current position.
- Supervisory experience.
- Strong communication skills and confident at delivering training.
- Ability to use own initiative to plan time.
- Competent with technology.
- Confident, positive, and possessing good interpersonal skills.
- Proven work experience in retail.
- Fashion trend awareness.
