The Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine central office's post of Data Officer (appointed at Grade 4) or Senior Data Officer (appointed at Grade 5) is suitable for someone who has strong applied analytical and data management skills. The grade will be determined by the skills and experience of the post holder. Training and development will be available to meet the Faculty's requirements for this post and to support the post holder's career trajectory.
The post combines data expertise with strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills to support Faculty operations. The post holder will work with data and systems to support the Faculty's day‑to‑day operations and longer‑term planning, working closely with the Data Manager. The post holder works collaboratively with staff from across the Faculty, and more widely in King's College London, supporting them by producing analyses and working to improve data quality across several corporate systems and databases. In addition to working with Faculty‑wide data, the post holder carries out a broad range of business operations tasks and projects.
The post holder is required to be solutions‑focused, drawing on the data and resources available to support a wide range of the Faculty's priorities, and have a systematic approach when applying policies and processes, with an outstanding eye for detail.
This is a full time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
