Assistant CDM Principal Designer – Glasgow

Your Role
- Support CDM 2015 compliance and embed safe design principles
- Prepare documentation, reports, and risk registers
- Coordinate between design, project management, and delivery teams
- Contribute to Health, Safety and wellbeing initiatives
- Support internal CPD sessions on CDM and safe practice
- Collaborate with digital and BIM teams for safety integration
Skills & Experience (LinkedIn filters / self-screening)
- 2–3 years post-qualification experience in architecture, architectural technology, or construction
- Working knowledge of CDM 2015 and general Health & Safety legislation
- Exposure to construction projects via design practice, consultancy, or site roles
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams
- Interest in building a long-term career in CDM / Health & Safety
- Understanding of project coordination and construction processes
- APS, IOSH, or NEBOSH qualifications beneficial but not essential
- Ability to manage documentation and maintain clear project records
