The Role: Strategic Growth & Partnerships
As the Consumer team enters a high‑growth phase, we seek a Senior Business Development Lead. Your primary mission is to drive mass adoption of our Remember Me product while partnering with top‑tier global merchants to co‑create the next generation of our financial product suite.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial strategy to exponentially grow the Remember Me user base.
- Collaborate with Sales and Commercial Account Management to identify high‑potential merchants, serving as a subject‑matter expert who assists them in pitching and integrating Flow, Remember Me, and future solutions.
- Act as a strategic consultant to key merchant partners, gathering deep market insights to shape future product roadmaps.
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to translate merchant feedback and market requirements into world‑class product features.
- Leverage a deep understanding of API‑led processing to articulate complex financial product value propositions to both technical and commercial audiences.
- Develop and execute go‑to‑market plans that incentivise merchants to adopt our consumer features, focusing on increased conversion and long‑term user loyalty.
- Facilitate a continuous feedback loop across Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams to ensure that merchant needs are reflected in product development.
About You
- 7+ years of Business Development or Strategic Partnerships experience within UK fintech, payments, or digital commerce.
- Proven ability to influence large Sales and Commercial organisations and motivate account teams to sell complex, new‑to‑market products.
- Track record of scaling a B2B2C product from early adoption to mass‑market volume.
- Deep understanding of API‑led processing and the capacity to articulate complex financial product value propositions to technical and commercial audiences.
- Exceptional strategic negotiation skills to secure long‑term commitments from enterprise‑level merchants.
- Self‑starter who can operate effectively in a stealth‑focused environment, managing high‑stakes projects with professional discretion.
