Responsibilities
- Take ownership of arboricultural surveys and consultancy work across a diverse portfolio of projects, including infrastructure, utilities, and planning‑led developments.
- Conduct BS5837:2012 surveys for planning and development.
- Perform Visual Tree Assessments (VTA) and condition inspections.
- Write technical reports and provide arboricultural recommendations.
- Provide tree protection advice during construction projects.
- Supervise arboricultural works on site.
- Liaise with clients, engineers, planners, and contractors.
- Contribute to infrastructure schemes and environmental constraints.
- Make field decisions and technical recommendations that directly shape development outcomes.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in arboricultural consultancy/surveying.
- NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent/higher) in Arboriculture & Forestry.
- LANTRA Professional Tree Inspection qualification.
- Strong experience in BS5837:2012 surveys and development work.
- Proven ability in Visual Tree Assessment (VTA).
- Excellent technical report writing skills.
- Full UK driving licence (clean).
- CSCS and/or ROLO certification.
- Strong IT skills including tree/survey software.
- Solid understanding of tree works and specifications.
- Ability to manage workload and projects independently.
