Job Overview
Join Baringa’s Telco, Media & Technology practice as a Consultant or Senior Consultant. You will work across energy, resources, financial services, government, consumer products, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and technology, delivering strategy, transformation, and operational excellence projects for global clients.
Responsibilities
- Identify and explore where AI and automation could add value, shaping practical use cases and supporting early adoption.
- Design and deliver business and transformation programmes, incorporating digital tools, analytics and automation where appropriate.
- Support organisations to monetise digital products, content and platforms, using data and insight to inform growth decisions.
- Improve customer, partner and user experience across end‑to‑end journeys through digital and data‑enabled change.
- Design future operating models, considering how people, processes and technology work together.
- Support organisations through business model evolution (e.g. telco to techco, content to platform).
- Advise on M&A, integration and carve‑outs, supporting value creation through better insight, execution discipline and change delivery.
- Work across adjacent TMT areas such as media, platforms, data centres, hyperscalers and digital infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Experience across parts of the Telecommunications, Media and Technology (TMT) ecosystem.
- Strong consulting fundamentals and a delivery mindset: supporting strategy and transformation, delivering end‑to‑end change.
- Comfort working alongside digital tools, data and AI (no technical specialist required).
- Strong data literacy; able to interpret insights and translate them into clear recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, especially when explaining digital or AI concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Focus on outcomes, execution and impact.
