Job Overview

Main Duties
- Drive Operational excellence and meet/exceed KPI / SLA performance.
- Ensure legislative compliance in relation to Health and Safety for all activities.
- To build excellent pro‑active stakeholder relationships with key client business stakeholders & IFM.
- Manage, monitor and report on the financial performance in line with business objectives, setting, monitoring and implementing budgetary adjustments.
- Align a relationship with IFM colleagues to ensure 1Team working ethic.
- Ownership of Critical Assets and maintenance strategy for Capital replacement for own cluster.
- Provide a key interface for the client across the portfolio and create excellent working relationships with the client's group property team.
- Assist the Head of Engineering Operations in expanding the current service delivery model by proactively analysing and investigating future business development opportunities.
- Manage budgets, including cost controls and sub‑contract negotiations.
- Day to day management of the Regional IM Team including conduct, performance, attendance and capability.
- Lead the team by example, promoting values and development opportunities.
- Work with the stakeholders and Energy managers to implement the Energy strategy.
- Manage all contract risks including business continuity and disaster recovery.
- Responsible for verification and compliance auditing of all activities.
- To understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
- To comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- To attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required.
- To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required.
What we are looking for
- Proven track record for managing Hard FM services in commercial/industrial properties.
- Holds relevant professional, technical or management qualifications or experience.
- Management experience with ability to lead large teams effectively.
- Excellent technical knowledge of M&E, building services and industry best practice.
- Excellent knowledge and track record in QHSE / Risk management.
- Strong and effective communication skills and a good people manager.
- Good knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation.
- Open minded, continual improvement focussed and provides evidence of implementing innovative solutions.
- Able to represent Mitie effectively at both internal and external meetings.
- Passionate about Mitie.
