Site Manager

South West Cornwall – Permanent – Salary £70,000–£75,000 + Car allowance + benefits package

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to take the lead on a major residential development in South West Cornwall. This is not a role for someone who needs easing in; the site is a live, fast‑paced environment and needs someone who can hit the ground running from day one.

Responsibilities

• Managing day‑to‑day site operations
• Driving programme and keeping works on track
• Coordinating subcontractors and trades
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety
• Ensuring quality delivery across all plots

About You

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within housebuilding
• Strong background in timber frame construction
• Able to manage busy, challenging sites effectively
• Holds all relevant site certifications (SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, etc.)
• Confident decision‑maker with strong leadership skills

Package

• Salary up to £75,000
• £4,500 car allowance
