We are looking for a hands‑on Cyber Security Engineer to join a growing Law Firm following a major restructure, helping to shape and build a modern security function across infrastructure, cloud, and operations.
You will
Work across a broad and modern security stack including Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, Sentinel, Mimecast, and Palo Alto, gaining deep hands‑on exposure to leading technologies.
Play a key role in large‑scale Azure migration projects, ensuring security is embedded as the organisation evolves its cloud environment.

Responsibilities
- Own and manage security engineering and incidents end‑to‑end, from detection through to response and remediation.
- Work hands‑on with security tooling including Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, Sentinel, Mimecast, and Palo Alto firewalls.
- Support and secure large‑scale Azure migrations, implementing best practices across cloud environments.
- Configure and manage Azure security policies and controls.
- Collaborate across Network Ops, Cloud Ops, and Security Ops teams to strengthen overall security posture.
- Contribute to the development and maturity of the security engineering function.
- Support the onboarding and optimisation of new security tools and processes.
Skills / Must Have
- Strong hands‑on experience in Cyber Security Engineering or Security Operations
- Solid experience working in Azure environments, including policies and security controls
- Proven experience handling security incidents in a hands‑on capacity
- Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to work across multiple technical domains
- Hybrid working: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
