Assistant Store Manager – Calvin Klein (Bicester Village)
Our stores are the life and soul of our business and act as main touchpoints with our evolving consumer base. The Assistant Manager leads by example, embraces entrepreneurial spirit, and inspires teams through passion for our brands.
Responsibilities
- Lead store teams to generate sales, profit, minimize losses, and create the best customer experience while maintaining visual standards.
- Identify growth opportunities and improve performance through collaboration.
- Maintain corporate visual merchandising directives for sales floor and back room.
- Communicate clearly with visual merchandising team and store staff.
- Partner with store management to achieve business objectives.
- Build quality relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring repeat business.
- Conduct daily/weekly walkthroughs; evaluate product performance, pricing, staff service, inventory.
- Communicate sales drivers and priorities to the Store Manager and develop strategies for maximization.
- Analyze store reports and create action plans.
- Assist in manpower planning, recruitment, interviewing, and hiring; build bench strength for key roles.
- Participate in weekly management meetings and staff meetings.
- Set clear sales goals and performance expectations; guide staff to improve results.
- Provide exceptional customer journey and achieve exemplary mystery shop results.
Qualifications
- Experience in supervisory or specialist roles within a premium or luxury brand.
- Previous people‑management experience and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Effective communicator who cultivates belonging.
- Collaborative mindset; recognizes and celebrates contributions.
- Capable of giving constructive feedback for positive change.
- Fast‑adaptable and works at pace.
- Energetic presence on the shop floor and inspires trust.
