Carl Friedrik is looking for an experienced Store Manager to oversee the day to day performance and operations of its London retail stores.
This role will play a key part in driving sales performance, elevating service standards, maintaining operational excellence, and ensuring a consistently premium customer experience across both locations.
The position suits a commercially minded retail leader who thrives in premium environments, enjoys accountability, and is confident leading teams, driving performance, and maintaining exceptionally high standards across service, presentation, and operations.
Who you are
You are an experienced retail manager from a premium or luxury background with a strong understanding of client experience, team leadership, and commercial performance.
You are highly organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple priorities across different store environments. You understand how to drive sales through strong leadership, client relationships, floor presence, and disciplined execution.
You are comfortable analysing store performance, identifying opportunities, and ensuring consistent follow through from the wider team.
Your responsibilities
- Oversee the day to day performance and operations of the London stores
- Lead, coach, and develop the retail team across both locations
- Drive sales performance, conversion, AOV, and clientelling activity
- Maintain high standards across customer experience, VM, cleanliness, and store presentation
- Ensure operational consistency across opening/closing, stock organisation, rota management, and daily execution
- Monitor and report on KPIs, store performance, and customer insights
- Support training, onboarding, and performance management of retail staff
- Work closely with the Retail Lead on store strategy, reporting, and operational improvements
- Act as the senior in-store point of contact during peak trading periods, events, and VIP visits
Requirements
- 3+ years retail management experience within premium or luxury retail
- Strong commercial mindset and understanding of KPI-driven retail
- Experience leading teams and driving accountability
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong standards across service, presentation, and operations
- Comfortable working flexibly across both central London sites, including weekends
- 2–5 years retail management experience, ideally within a premium or luxury environment
- Confident leader with strong presence on the shop floor and experience managing teams
- Commercially minded with experience driving sales, conversion, and clientelling performance
- Strong understanding of KPI reporting, target management, and retail operations
- High standards across customer service, store presentation, and operational execution
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities across two retail locations
- Proactive, organised, and able to take ownership of day to day store performance
- Flexible availability, including weekends where required
- Strong communication and coaching skills with the ability to develop and motivate teams
- Eligible to work in the United Kingdom
