Job Benefits: Outside IR35

A well-known Academy Trust is seeking to recruit a Senior Business Analyst for a 3 month contract, £550/day outside IR35, predominantly remote with occasional travel into London.

The Academy is part way through a significant data and analytics transformation. The foundational data platform (Azure Databricks, Power BI, Azure Integration Services) is built and live. The next phase is business activation, translating a group‑wide KPI framework into agreed metrics, reporting structures and data use cases across four domains: Education, HR, Finance, and Sales & Marketing.

This work runs in parallel across domains and needs consistent, structured facilitation to land well.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior BA to lead discovery and alignment work across the programme. This is not a technical role – it manages business stakeholder engagement, requirements definition and programme coordination.

The Senior Business Analyst will work across domain workstreams, ensuring consistency of approach, quality of outputs and momentum across a complex multi‑stakeholder environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and facilitate domain alignment sessions with senior business stakeholders (Cluster MDs, Principals, functional leads)
  • Define and document KPIs, business definitions, data requirements and use case priorities per domain
  • Maintain a consolidated view of progress, decisions and open items across all domains
  • Feed outputs into the data and delivery team to inform platform prioritisation and roadmap
  • Support preparation of materials for ELT and board‑level reporting

Ideal Background

  • Proven experience in complex stakeholder environments
  • Able to run structured workshops with C‑suite and operational leaders
  • Experience in education, professional services or similarly complex multi‑site organisations preferred but not essential
  • Familiarity with data and analytics programmes with an understanding of KPI frameworks, reporting requirements and data governance
  • Strong facilitation, documentation and communication skills
  • Self‑starter in an environment still maturing its data capability

If interested in this role, please apply today. This role will be to start in May.
