Senior Project Manager - Metal Door Specialist
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a metal door specialist company, overseeing 10 live projects, each valued over £1.5m. This is a hands‑on role based in Stockport, where you will be regularly visiting sites, managing teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of 10+ projects over £1.5m
- Provide people management and leadership to site teams
- Regularly visit sites to monitor progress, quality, and compliance
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and clients
- Ensure projects meet budgets, timelines, and quality standards
- Report to senior management and stakeholders
Requirements
- Experience with main contractors on live projects
- Proven people management experience
- Hands‑on, site‑focused approach – not just office‑based
- Ideally experience with metal doors / door installation projects, or general construction experience is acceptable
- Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills
