We’re looking for an experienced IP Engineering Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about leading high-performing engineering teams, driving technical consistency, and ensuring seamless delivery of network services into live operations.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience managing engineering teams within telecoms or network service providers
  • Strong understanding of SD-WAN architectures and secure network delivery
  • Experience delivering infrastructure solutions into live service with clear documentation and handover processes
  • Ability to lead third-line engineering and network build teams, managing escalations and project delivery
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language
  • Experience managing licensing across network and security platforms (e.g. Fortinet, Juniper)
  • Demonstrated ability to standardise processes, improve build quality, and drive operational consistency
  • Experience coordinating resources, engineering rotas, and project allocations across teams

Nice to Have

  • Technical background in Juniper routing and/or Fortinet environments
  • Experience working in regulated or public sector environments
  • Familiarity with external circuit providers (e.g. BT, Virgin, Neos)
  • Certifications such as ITIL v4, Fortinet NSE (4+), Juniper, or Prince2/Agile
  • Experience working closely with vendors, procurement, and commercial teams
