Account Director – London, Zone 1

Location: Zone 1 London

Working Pattern: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

Client relationship management

  • Act as the primary senior point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong, long-term partnerships.
  • Manage client expectations and communicate project progress, addressing any issues and keeping them informed of developments.

Operational and contract management

  • Ensure contract delivery meets or exceeds agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Oversee all aspects of contract performance, including compliance with contractual terms and health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement operational excellence and innovation within contracts.
  • Produce regular performance reviews, reports, and strategic development plans.

Financial and commercial management

  • Manage the financial performance of contracts, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Maximise profitability by controlling costs and managing margins.
  • Identify and drive revenue growth opportunities, such as upselling new services.
  • Lead the company's role in contract retenders.

Team leadership

  • Lead, motivate, and develop operational teams to ensure consistent service excellence.
  • Foster a collaborative culture and ensure staff are trained and managed effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards across all managed sites.
