European Business Development Director
This position is responsible for promoting our client’s innovative branding solutions and expanding existing customer business. The Director ensures a best‑in‑class experience for the customer following the sale and sells end‑to‑end brand communication solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure New Customers – Lead the organization’s new business development in a classic hunter role. Identify, secure and expand strategic, profitable long‑term customer engagements. With selling cycle times of 6‑12 months, ensure a robust pipeline of qualified prospects and lead the deployment of multifunctional resources to close high‑priority opportunities.
- Expand Revenue via Cross‑Sell – Support the client‑management team by identifying new business opportunities with existing customers. Drive revenue by delivering enhanced value across a broader solution set and close these sales with appropriate internal partners.
- Solutions Thought Leadership – Maintain an ongoing understanding of key customer practices and insights to continually identify future value‑added solutions that meet customer pain points. Ensure capabilities required to deliver solutions are clear and that promises at the time of sale are consistently met.
- Contribute to Broader European Growth – Participate in company‑wide initiatives to geographically expand the client’s services and solutions, supporting expansion of parent and subsidiary business units across Europe and globally.
