Job title: Head of Event Operations : London Catering Company

We are working with a fast:growing London catering company seeking a Head of Event Operations to lead multi:site event delivery and drive operational excellence. This is a senior leadership role overseeing high:volume, complex events across corporate, private, and large:scale productions:combining strategic oversight with hands:on execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end:to:end event operations across multiple venues and sites
- Manage and develop a team of Event Managers and freelance staff
- Oversee scheduling, resource planning, and operational delivery
- Drive consistency in service standards, processes, and guest experience
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, food safety, and licensing
- Build strong relationships with clients, venues, and suppliers
- Collaborate with sales, kitchen, and logistics teams
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Identify efficiencies and drive continuous operational improvement
About You
- Proven experience in a senior event operations role within catering or hospitality
- Strong leadership experience managing large, multi:site teams
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Confident client:facing communicator
- Calm, solutions:focused under pressure
- Strong understanding of event logistics, staffing, and compliance
