Your future duties and responsibilities
- Modernise & transform data collection, processing and storage using distributed systems (Kafka, Kubernetes, Zookeeper)
- Develop & deliver automated CI/CD pipelines to improve release quality and efficiency
- Optimise & automate existing deployment and release processes
- Collaborate & integrate with stakeholders to align development with security requirements
- Support & enhance SIEM and protective monitoring capabilities
- Document & maintain technical designs, installations and support processes
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Good working knowledge of RHEL and/or Windows
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation
- Familiarity with scripting (e.g. Bash, PowerShell)
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD or automation tooling (e.g. Ansible, Azure DevOps)
- Awareness of SIEM, protective monitoring, or cyber security concepts
- Understanding of data engineering principles or SQL‑based systems (desirable)
