The Role
As an Account Director, Paid Search, you will lead the strategic direction and performance of large-scale paid search campaigns for a major clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and optimise large-scale paid search campaigns
- Develop PPC strategies to drive performance and growth
- Manage budgets, bidding, testing, and campaign optimisation
- Identify new opportunities across automation and AI tools
- Deliver performance insights and recommendations
- Lead and support junior team members
- Ensure campaigns are delivered to a high standard
- Manage team workload and campaign priorities
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams
- Present campaign updates and strategic recommendations
- Support wider business growth opportunities
- Monitor campaign performance against KPIs and ROI targets
- Deliver reporting, analysis, and testing insights
- Drive continuous optimisation across campaigns
- Stay up to date with paid search trends and platform developments
- Maintain strong platform and industry knowledge
You
- Extensive experience in Paid Search / PPC / SEM within agency or in-house environments
- Strong leadership and team management experience
- Expert knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and bid management platforms
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially focused with a passion for digital innovation and performance marketing
- Experience working across automotive or other large-scale consumer brands beneficial
