Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mathematics and Physics Teacher based in Clapham, London. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching mathematics and physics across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 levels, delivering structured and engaging lessons, and assessing student progress regularly. Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, preparing teaching materials, and supporting students to meet their academic goals. Collaboration with colleagues and participation in departmental activities is also expected.


Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Mathematics and Physics with a solid understanding of the curriculum for Key Stage 4 (GCSE) and Key Stage 5 (A-Level).
  • Very strong knowledge of IT and Microsoft Applications such as Teams and OneNote.
  • Experience in Lesson Planning and the ability to design effective, engaging, and inclusive teaching materials.
  • Proven experience and skills in Physics Education and Teaching, preferably in a British curriculum environment.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills to effectively engage with students and foster a positive learning atmosphere.
  • A passion for education and dedication to inspiring academic excellence across a diverse student body.
  • Additional qualification (e.g., a teaching degree or PGCE) and experience in an international educational setting would be advantageous.
