Location 

Hybrid (Cambridge office ~2 days/week). Travel to customer sites in UK, Europe and world-wide may occasionally be required. You must have the right to work in the UK. 

 

About the role 

As Delivery & Operations Manager, you'll own the planning and execution of internal and external projects, and provide broad operational and strategic support to the leadership team. This is a role for someone who thrives on variety, is comfortable getting into the detail, and knows how to bring clarity and momentum to complex, fast-moving environments. It requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.


A successful Delivery & Operations Manager will play a crucial role in fostering a dynamic, data-driven culture and helping to build a more scalable organisation, working with stakeholders across multiple business functions to deliver great results.

  

Responsibilities 

Reporting to our Head of Operations, as Delivery & Operations Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Owning the planning, management and delivery of a range of internal and external projects across the business, from initiation through to completion, maintaining clear visibility of project risks and ensuring all deliverables are met as we adapt to evolving market conditions and business needs.
  • Defining and improving project management processes, tooling, and standards across the organisation. Lead process automation and optimisation efforts, driving the adoption of AI and supporting our internal teams to become more efficient.
  • Using data analysis to inform business performance reporting, deriving joined-up insights which help shape strategic business decisions.
  • Support the Head of Operations on a broad range of operational tasks and business initiatives – and help to build and maintain operational processes that allow the business to scale effectively.

 

About you 

We’re looking for a highly organised, hands-on delivery professional to help us keep the business running smoothly. You will interface with many different colleagues frequently, hold considerable influence within the organisation, and play a central role in how we operate and scale.

You’ll bring:

  • A minimum 3 years’ experience in project management and/or delivery role, preferably within the software industry.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
  • A hands-on, proactive mindset and willingness to get stuck in.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • B2B software company experience.
  • Specific experience working with large enterprise, AI, and/or familiarity with SaaS is a benefit.
