We are currently supporting a high-performing secondary school in the West Midlands to appoint a Teacher of Geography for a September 2026 start.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and supportive Humanities department within a school that places a strong emphasis on academic achievement, behaviour, and professional development.

The Role

You will:

  • Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4 (A-Level desirable)
  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that promote strong progress
  • Use assessment effectively to track and improve student outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum
  • Support students pastorally as a form tutor
  • Deliver intervention and enrichment activities where required

The Candidate

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Holds QTS and a relevant degree
  • Has the ability to teach Geography at KS3 and KS4
  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and classroom practice
  • Is committed to achieving excellent outcomes for all students
  • Has strong behaviour management and communication skills
