Communications Manager (Part-Time, 3 Days/Week) — London

A London-based early-stage venture capital firm is looking for an exceptional Communications Manager to own its public profile and media presence.

We back technology companies tackling some of the world's most pressing problems — across financial empowerment, climate resilience, resource efficiency, and beyond. We're a small, high-conviction team and we punch above our weight. We want our communications to reflect that.

This is a rare opportunity to build a comms function largely from scratch, working directly with the firm's Managing Partners on everything from media strategy to podcast production to LP communications. If you're excited by the idea of genuine ownership over a firm's public narrative — not executing someone else's playbook — this role is for you.

What you'll be doing

Pitching and securing podcast appearances and speaking slots for our partners. Coordinating broadcast and print media outreach. Supporting production of our own podcast series. Drafting op-eds, LinkedIn content, and outreach copy. Managing our PR pipeline and media contact database. And increasingly, identifying ways to automate and scale comms workstreams using the latest AI tools.

What we're looking for

One to four years of experience in PR, communications, or media — agency or in-house. Exceptional written English. Strong instincts for a story and when to tell it. Comfortable working autonomously across multiple workstreams. A genuine interest in technology and venture capital.

The details

Part-time, three days per week. London office-based. Competitive salary and benefits. We would like this to transition to a full-time role as this function becomes more established.
