We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Immigration Solicitor / Lawyer who has strong knowledge of UK immigration legislation and case law with a client-focused approach. Working as an Immigration Solicitor / Lawyer you will play a key role in delivering expert legal advice and representation to clients navigating the UK’s complex immigration system. As the Immigration Solicitor / Lawyer you will manage your own caseload and be responsible for advising individuals and families on a variety of immigration matters, from visa applications to appeals and asylum claims.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and representation on a wide range of immigration matters including entry clearance, leave to remain, ILR, nationality, asylum, and appeals
- Prepare and submit applications to the Home Office and Tribunals
- Liaise with clients, courts, and external agencies in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain accurate case files and adhere to firm procedures and compliance requirements
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to business development initiative.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with previous experience in immigration law
- Strong knowledge of UK immigration legislation and case law
- Proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A client-focused approach with a commitment to achieving the best outcomes
- Accreditation under the Law Society’s Immigration & Asylum Accreditation Scheme (desirable)
