Your new company You will be working for a Tier 1 contractor operating within the highways and infrastructure sector, delivering major schemes across the region. The organisation has a strong pipeline of work and a proven track record of delivering complex civil engineering projects safely and efficiently.
Your new role As a Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of highways works on a live project for a Tier 1 contractor.
- Manage daily site operations across highways and civil engineering works
- Coordinate subcontractors, labour and plant to meet programme requirements
- Ensure all works are delivered in line with health, safety, environmental and quality standards
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, commercial teams and stakeholders
- Maintain accurate site records, reports and documentation
- Proactively identify and resolve site issues, escalating where required
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within highways or civil engineering projects
- Previous experience working for a Tier 1 contractor (desirable)
- Strong knowledge of highways specifications and construction methodologies
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple work fronts in a fast-paced site environment
