About the role
Here at Abivale Veterinary Group we are looking for a permanent night vet to join our main Abingdon site. The role offers an excellent caseload focused on emergency and critical care, and you will work a 7 on 14 off rota, covering night shifts. You will be supported by a dedicated night RVN who will work closely with you to ensure the highest standards of patient and client care.
Working Pattern
The rota follows a 7 on 14 off pattern with shifts: Monday – Thursday (18:40 – 07:40), Friday (18:40 – 08:00), Saturday (18:00 – 09:00) and Sunday (18:00 – 07:40). Bank holidays will be 18:00 – 07:40.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency and critical care to veterinary patients during night shifts.
- Maintain the highest standards of patient and client care.
- Work in a 7 on 14 off rota as described above.
- Collaborate with night RVNs and other team members to manage cases effectively.

Salary
£50,000 – £65,000 a year (up to £65,000 pro rata, depending on experience).
