Job Description

Research Area: AI & Healthcare intersection, solving real‑world clinical problems like clinician burnout and wearable security.

• Category: AI in Healthcare
• Projects:
  • Securing Medical IoT: creating lightweight, trustworthy AI to protect data on smartwatches & glucose monitors.
  • Clinical Form Automation: Developing “agentic” NLP models & LLMs to reduce doctor paperwork and increase patient time.

Eligibility: Motivated researchers; international applicants are welcome.

Support Package:

• Full tuition fees covered.
• £19,237 tax‑free annual stipend.
• Paid Lab Demonstrator experience (up to 6hrs/week).

Goal: build AI that helps people and works in real‑world healthcare settings.
