You’ll join DVSA as a Lead Portfolio Delivery Manager, acting as the head of Agile Delivery within a core value stream.
In This Role, You Will
- Lead a major delivery portfolio and shape how digital services are delivered
- Work alongside senior leaders across Digital, Operations and Policy
- Influence strategy and improve how teams deliver high-impact services
- Build and grow a high‑performing, inclusive agile delivery community
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing strategic leadership for agile delivery across the agency
- Leading and developing a high-performing delivery community
- Working with senior leaders to ensure delivery aligns with strategic priorities
- Measuring success through business outcomes, performance and user value
- Managing risks, issues and dependencies across a large delivery portfolio
- Supporting teams to resolve complex challenges and unblock delivery
- Driving a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Ensuring delivery meets security, accessibility and compliance standards
What We’re Looking For
- Significant experience leading agile delivery functions
- Experience managing large, cross‑functional teams (both direct and virtual)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence across Digital, Operations and Policy environments
- Experience managing portfolios, roadmaps, risks and dependencies at a strategic level
- A collaborative approach with the ability to work across multiple disciplines
