Location: Hull (Onsite)
Salary: £18.00 per hour (PAYE)
Start Date: ASAP (08 June 2026)
Contract: 6 months initially (potential extension to 12 months)
Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri, flexible core hours 9am-3pm)

About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy at their Blade Factory in Hull. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high‑impact environment, supporting data‑driven decision‑making through the development of robust reporting solutions. This is an onsite role, ideal for a candidate who thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced operational setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards using multiple data sources (SQL, dataflows, SharePoint, etc.)
- Build and maintain scalable and efficient data models
- Manage and maintain KPI scorecards, ensuring alignment across the business
- Ensure all reporting is standardised, consistent, and aligned with data quality principles
- Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve existing reports
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear visual insights
- Support the development of reporting frameworks and best practices
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance across all reporting solutions
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong hands‑on experience with Power BI (including DAX and data modelling)
- Experience working with multiple data sources (SQL, Excel, APIs, dataflows, SharePoint)
- Good understanding of ETL and data transformation processes
- Ability to design clear, intuitive dashboards and visualisations
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data quality and consistency
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Desirable
- Experience managing KPI frameworks or business scorecards
Interview Process
- 45‑minute face‑to‑face interview
- Includes: Review of experience, competency‑based questions, Power BI assessment
