Architect – London Technically Focussed | 4+ Years’ Experience | RIBA Chartered Practice
My client, a design-led architectural practice, is seeking a technically focussed Architect to join their growing London studio.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a range of projects, from early design development and planning applications through to detailed technical design and delivery information. You will work closely with the directors to deliver high-quality architecture and support the continued growth and reputation of the practice.
This position would particularly suit an Architect with experience in Scottish projects and/or Scottish Building Regulations, alongside strong UK residential delivery experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support directors in the delivery of high-quality design-led projects
- Produce design, planning, and technical information across all RIBA stages
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary consultant teams
- Support Architects and Architectural Assistants within the team
- Contribute to the creative direction and design quality of the practice
- Help deliver projects to key milestones and deadlines
- Promote the values and reputation of the practice
Requirements
- Qualified Architect with minimum 4 years’ professional experience
- Experience working across all RIBA stages
- Strong background in residential design and delivery
- Experience with Scottish projects and/or Scottish Building Regulations (essential or highly desirable)
- Confident working with external consultants and wider project teams
- Strong technical knowledge and detailing ability
- Proficiency in Revit with practical project experience
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign etc.)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Organised, proactive, and confident working independently and within teams
